Hi! I’m Laura… a part-time photographer, mother, and wife based on Victoria’s Surf Coast. I’ve been taking photos since my early teens starting with disposable film cameras long before they became trendy. My photography journey has taken me on some incredible adventures and lead me organically down various paths (tourism + travel, lifestyle brands and weddings to name a few).

Since becoming a mother, I have felt a pull to redirect my photography business towards the motherhood + family journey. I feel very connected in this space which I have combined creatively with my forever love of the natural world… which is where I flourish most as a photographer. Still love me an ocean landscape, and capturing the lifestyle of the coast and travel… I just don’t get as much time or as many opportunities to capture it these days.

The saying ‘time is a thief’ has never rung truer to me since becoming a mum. The moments are precious, brief, and intense with love + fatigue. I have said countless times that I wish I could freeze time which of course I can’t, but what I can do is document the beauty of moments in time. Moments that can be looked back on fondly and cherished forever.

As mums we are often taking photos of our kids, and don’t have many photos together with our kids or as a family unit. We can keep persisting by asking the hubby to take photos of us but let’s face it… they turn out shocking. I would be honoured to capture these moments for you.
